St. Gregory of Nyssa Orthodox Church, located in Columbus, Ohio is a community of the Diocese of the Midwest in the Orthodox Church in America, centrally located near the campus of The Ohio State University.

The parish continues its commitment to the students at the Ohio State University as well as other colleges and universities in the Central Ohio area.

We are blessed with a number of programs and activities including outreach to the University and neighborhood. We welcome believers called to ministry.

If you are interested in a church rooted in the Apostolic tradition and Scripture, and worshiping in a manner treasured and renewed by the workings of the Holy Spirit, please, come, visit St. Gregory of Nyssa Orthodox Church.

Services

Vespers on Saturday evenings begin at 6:00pm. On the eve prior to most feast days Vespers is also served. Weekday Vespers begin at 6:00pm.  Sunday services begin with the Hours at 9:10am followed immediately by the Divine Liturgy at 9:30am. A memorial “Panikhida” is also offered regularly (usually once per month) on behalf of departed loved ones.

Coffee Hour

After the Sunday Divine Liturgy all are invited to gather upstairs to meet or reconnect.
